The Sun is good for many things but it can also harm our skin because it emits ultraviolet radiation. The sun ultraviolet A (UVA) rays are called the “aging rays”. UVA can cause wrinkles, age spots, and tans. The ultraviolet b (UVB) rays are known as “burning” rays because UVB rays cause sunburn. Both type of UV rays can cause skin cancer.
